Volleyball Recap: Four Straight Road Victories for Pleasant Grove

Pleasant Grove had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Wasatch on Tuesday. The Vikings blew past the Wasps 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2017.

While Pleasant Grove won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 25-23.

Lexi Brown paced Pleasant Grove's offense, picking up 14 kills. Brown got some help from Marley McCandless and her 35 assists. Taytum Nelson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Pleasant Grove didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Salem Hills on the 25th. As for Wasatch, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Payson on the 25th.
