Football Recap: Vero Beach Comes Up Short

Vero Beach fell victim to Jupiter and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They took a 12-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jupiter Warriors. The Indians were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in April of 2021.

The critical scores for Jupiter came from Tessa Grimm and Gianna Granda.

Vero Beach now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Jupiter, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Coming up, Vero Beach will welcome John Carroll Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. John Carroll Catholic's defense has only allowed 9.8 points per game this season, so Vero Beach's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Jupiter, they have already played their next game, a 26-25 victory against Royal Palm Beach on the 27th.
