Volleyball Recap: Bucksport Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Bucksport lost against Narraguagus back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Golden Bucks took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. The Golden Bucks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14, 16-25, 25-16.

When it comes to explaining why Bucksport lost, don't look at Marina Keene. Despite the final result, she had 22 digs and five aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Allison Hanscom, who had 15 digs and ten assists.

Eileen Berry had an outrageously good game for Narraguagus as she had 16 digs and three aces. Berry has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last five times she's played.

Bucksport now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Narraguagus, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Coming up, Bucksport will host Sumner at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Narraguagus, they will head out to take on Jonesport-Beals at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
