Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the O'Connell Buccaneers walked away with it. They managed a 65-60 victory over the Indians on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but O'Connell sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead O'Connell to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jarrius Smith, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 17 rebounds. Smith is crushing the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Derrick Kirks jr, who scored 22 points along with seven assists and five steals.

Sacred Heart's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hudson Kutac, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds. It was the first time this season that Kutac pulled down eight or more rebounds. Nic Angerstein was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 19 rebounds.

O'Connell has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 24-10 record this season. As for Sacred Heart, their defeat dropped their record down to 36-6.
