Basketball Game Preview: Coolidge Colts vs. MacArthur Mammoths

The Coolidge Colts are taking a road trip to face off against the MacArthur Mammoths at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Coolidge will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

Coolidge is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of District of Columbia's top teams: Anacostia, who was ranked 15th at the time (Coolidge was ranked first). Coolidge really took it to Anacostia for the full four quarters, racking up a 63-27 win. The Colts have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 29 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, MacArthur came up short against Cardozo on Friday and fell 41-32.

Coolidge's victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-1. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 19.0 points per game. As for MacArthur, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.
