Baseball Recap: Raymond Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Raymond's offense. They came up short against the Clinton Arrows on Monday, falling 15-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Rangers were not able to get on the board.

Raymond's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Clinton, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Coming up, Raymond will face off against Jefferson County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Raymond has given up an average of 11.6 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Clinton, they will head out on the road to challenge Starkville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clinton's pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so Starkville's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
