Volleyball Recap: Rangeview Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Rangeview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Northfield Nighthawks. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Raiders have suffered against the Nighthawks since April 21, 2021.

While Rangeview was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Northfield's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-21, 26-24.

Lauren Forte paced Rangeview's offense, picking up six kills. Forte got some help from Teyla Holloway and her 15 assists. Brook Justi controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Rangeview's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Northfield, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Rangeview will venture away from home to face off against Prairie View at 6:30 p.m. on September 4. As for Northfield, they will take on Fort Collins in a tournament on Friday.
