Volleyball Recap: Ola Comes Up Short

Ola managed to slip by Veterans the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Mustangs came up short against the Warhawks on Tuesday, falling 3-0. That makes it the first time this season the Mustangs have let down their home crowd.

While Ola was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-22, 25-17.

Veterans was led to victory by Piper Seaman and Alyssa Baughier. Seaman had 13 digs and three aces, while Baughier had five digs and two aces.

Ola's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Veterans, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Ola will face off against Walnut Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Veterans, they will challenge Lowndes at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Warhawks surely won't give up without a fight.
