Basketball Recap: Founders Classical Academy's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

There's no place like home for Founders Classical Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They secured a 59-54 W over the Deer Antlers on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for Founders Classical Academy as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Several Antlers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ayden Burdine, who posted 12 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Mason Guinnip, who had 11 points and eight rebounds.

Founders Classical Academy's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-5. As for Deer, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.
