Basketball Game Preview: Mahwah Thunderbirds vs. NV - Demarest Norsemen

The Mahwah Thunderbirds will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the NV - Demarest Norsemen at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Sunday, Mahwah earned a 33-25 win over Kennedy. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Thunderbirds.

Meanwhile, NV - Demarest had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They snuck past DePaul Catholic with a 61-56 victory.

Mahwah now has a winning record of 2-1. As for NV - Demarest, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.

Mahwah couldn't quite finish off NV - Demarest in their previous matchup back in January of 2022 and fell 26-24. Can Mahwah avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
