Basketball Game Preview: Cascade Cougars vs. Monticello Panthers

Cascade is 2-8 against Monticello since January of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Cougars will face off against the Panthers. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Cascade beat Wilton 62-54. The victory continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Beavers: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Monticello earned a 53-46 win over West Branch on Thursday.

Cascade's record is now 12-7. As for Monticello, their record now sits at 16-5.

Cascade came up short against Monticello in their previous meeting back in January, falling 49-41. Can the Cougars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
