Charlottesville entered their tilt with Monticello on Tuesday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Monticello Mustangs 81-27. Given the Black Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 29th, while the Mustangs are ranked 371st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Charlottesville pushed their record up to 16-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.2 points per game. As for Monticello, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Charlottesville will head out to challenge Louisa County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Monticello, they will venture away from home to take on Fluvanna County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
