Baseball Recap: Genesee Comes Up Short

If Genesee was feeling good fresh off their 14-0 takedown of More Academy on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wolves came up short against the Byron Eagles on Saturday, falling 8-0. The Wolves have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Genesee saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joey Abbe, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base.

Genesee's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Byron, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-13.

As of now, neither Genesee nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
