Volleyball Recap: Arcadia Valley Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

It was a proper cat-fight when Arcadia Valley duked it out with Kingston on Monday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on October 7th.

Arcadia Valley not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Kingston between 15 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-15, 25-18.

Hattie Vinyard paced Arcadia Valley's offense, picking up 16 kills. Vinyard got some help from Annabelle Adams and her 26 assists. Alena Maxwell controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Arcadia Valley's victory ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 18-14. As for Kingston, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-22-1 record this season.

Arcadia Valley has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Greenville on the 28th. Kingston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
