Basketball Recap: Pocahontas Takes a Loss

Pocahontas lost against Sioux Central back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pocahontas Indians took a 44-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sioux Central Rebels.

Pocahontas' loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Sioux Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Pocahontas and Storm Lake will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 7:45 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Storm Lake will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Pocahontas surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sioux Central, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
