Soccer Game Preview: Millard West vs. Millard South

The Millard West Wildcats will take on the Millard South Patriots at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Millard West knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Millard South likes a good challenge.

Millard West is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Omaha North a 10-0 shutout on Monday. Given Millard West's advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska soccer rankings (they are ranked seventh, while Omaha North are ranked 53rd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Millard South's game on Saturday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They lost 4-0 to Millard West. Millard South have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Millard South's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Millard West, their victory bumped their record up to 10-5.

Millard West took their win against Millard South when the teams last played on Saturday by a conclusive 4-0 score. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
