Howard strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the Oakland Mills Scorpions with a sharp 3-0 win. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Scorpions, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Howard took every set by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-10, 25-7.

Miranda Ball was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 12 digs and four aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September. Imani Smith also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Howard was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in six consecutive matches.

Howard's victory bumped their record up to 16-0. As for Oakland Mills, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
