Logan Smith turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than ten strikeouts on Monday. She turned in her biggest game of the season, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Those 11 strikeouts gave her a new career-high.

Smith's strong effort led John Paul II Catholic over Southside and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
