Jim Thorpe found their leader in underclassman Cole Lazorick, who rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 119 yards and three touchdowns. Justin Yescavage was another key contributor, picking up 60 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Palmerton's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 10-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.8 points per game. As for Jim Thorpe, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.
Palmerton beat Jim Thorpe 41-31 in their previous meeting back in September. Does Palmerton have another victory up their sleeve, or will Jim Thorpe turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
