Softball Recap: Country Christian Victorious

Country Christian posted their closest victory since April 16, 2024 on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Perrydale Pirates 6-4.

The team relied heavily on Ellie Rhoden, who scored a run while going 1-for-4. Another player making a difference was Grace Colvin, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

The victory got Country Christian back to even at 2-2-1. As for Perrydale, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Country Christian will square off against rival St. Paul at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Perrydale is set to challenge their familiar foe Kennedy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
