Basketball Recap: Tuscarora Comes Up Short

Tuscarora lost against North Hagerstown back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tuscarora Titans were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 63-62 to the North Hagerstown Hubs.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Hagerstown to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brayden Cespedes, who went 8 for 12 en route to 20 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Somerville, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Tuscarora's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for North Hagerstown, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.

Tuscarora will host Williamsport at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th. As for North Hagerstown, they will head out on the road to square off against Clear Spring at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Hagerstown is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 64.9 points per game this season.
