Basketball Recap: Harrison County Takes a Loss

Harrison County was the 55-52 winner over Nicholas County when they last played one another on January 4th, but their luck changed this time around. The Harrison County Thorobreds took a hard 61-43 fall against the Nicholas County Bluejackets on Tuesday.

Harrison County's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 10-7. As for Nicholas County, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-5.

Harrison County won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lexington Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Nicholas County, they will head out to face off against Pendleton County at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Nicholas County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Pendleton County likes a good challenge.
