Callaway proved they can win big last Monday (they won by 40) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Westside Seminoles 35-33. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 35-33 victory two weeks ago.

Westside lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Domonique Billue, who posted 15 points and five steals. She has become a key player for Westside: the team is 10-2 when she posts at least five steals, but 4-8 otherwise. Destiny Spencer was another key player, putting up six points along with ten boards and three steals.

Callaway is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 15-8 record this season. As for Westside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-10.

Callaway does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Westside, they will face off against Jackson at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Westside is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51 points per game this season.
