East never let their opponents score on Monday. They put the hurt on the North Vikings with a sharp 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won five games by ten runs or more so far this season.

The victory (which was East's third in a row) raised their record to 6-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.3 runs over those games. As for North, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Norton at 5:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for North, they will head out to challenge Buchtel at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings are facing the Griffins at the right time seeing as the Griffins are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
