Volleyball Recap: Mt. Vernon Takes a Loss

Mt. Vernon lost against Pleasant Valley two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mustangs fell 2-0 to the Spartans.

Mt. Vernon's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Pleasant Valley, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 22-4.

Mt. Vernon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pleasant Valley, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Grundy Center on the 11th.
