Baseball Recap: Kaplan Takes a Loss

Kaplan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 12-10 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays. That's two games in a row now that the Pirates have lost by exactly two runs.

Kaplan's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for St. Edmund, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kaplan will venture away from home to take on Loreauville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Edmund, they will take on Westminster Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
