Baseball Recap: Anacoco Comes Up Short

Anacoco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 18-3 to the Westlake Rams. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 5-3 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Anacoco saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Riley Hayes, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Anacoco's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Westlake, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Anacoco will host Zwolle at 6:00 p.m. on February 25th. As for Westlake, they will be playing at home against Lutcher at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Westlake will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
