HomeSchool Resource Center's loss came despite strong showings from Mason O'Neal and Fredrick Jefferson. O'Neal scored 24 points along with six rebounds, while Jefferson scored 18 points along with eight assists and six rebounds. O'Neal scored a full 44.4% of HomeSchool Resource Center's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Cedrick Jefferson, who scored six points.
HomeSchool Resource Center struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
HomeSchool Resource Center has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for Cincinnati Landmark, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.
HomeSchool Resource Center will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Northside L at 7:30 p.m. on January 5th. Northside L presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than HomeSchool Resource Center in their respective states (Northside L is ranked 64th in Indiana, while HomeSchool Resource Center is ranked 446th in Illinois). Cincinnati Landmark does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
