The Sunrise Mountain Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 26 points or more this season. Everything went their way against Apollo on Thursday as Sunrise Mountain made off with a 50-24 win. The win was nothing new for Sunrise Mountain as they're now sitting on three straight.

Sunrise Mountain's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Addison Wiemann, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Wiemann has scored at least 25% of Sunrise Mountain's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Maza, who scored 18 points along with nine rebounds and three steals.

Sunrise Mountain's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Apollo, they bumped their record down to 1-5 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Sunrise Mountain will face off against Peoria at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Apollo will be home for the holidays to greet Kellis at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Kellis has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
