Baseball Recap: River Valley Takes a Loss

River Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 17-3 to the Roseville Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-0 last Monday.

River Valley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was ETHAN RIVERA, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Those two RBI gave RIVERA a new career-high.

River Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Roseville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season.

While River Valley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
