Basketball Recap: John Glenn Skates Past Morgan with Ease

John Glenn won the last time they faced Morgan and things went their way on Friday too. The John Glenn Little Muskies simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Morgan Raiders 82-35. The Little Muskies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead John Glenn to victory, but perhaps none more so than Stehl Bates, who went 6 of 12 en route to 19 points. Another player making a difference was Cj Dolan, who went 5 for 8 on his way to 14 points.

John Glenn was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Morgan only posted five assists.

Morgan's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cole McGill, who posted eight points. Aaron Baker also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.

The win made it two in a row for John Glenn and bumps their season record up to 15-2. As for Morgan, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

John Glenn will square off against Tri-Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. John Glenn knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 17 contests -- so hopefully Tri-Valley likes a good challenge. Morgan has already played their next game (against Marietta), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
