Baseball Recap: Springdale Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Springdale's offense. They lost 9-0 to the Apollo Ridge Vikings on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Dynamos' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Springdale saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Bramson, who went 1-for-3 with one double. Cameron Orait also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Springdale's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Apollo Ridge, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

While Springdale had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
