Softball Recap: Plymouth Christian Academy Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Plymouth Christian Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They had just enough and edged out the Anderson Titans 8-6.

Mariah Wright and Kate Harris did most of the damage at the plate: Wright scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-5, while Harris scored two runs while going 2-for-4. That's the most runs Harris has posted since back in May of 2024. Ellie Weertz was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Anderson now has a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Plymouth Christian Academy will square off against Plymouth at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Anderson, they will take on Belleville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
