The Pacific Indians will take on the St. Charles Pirates at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Pacific is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9 runs per game this season.

Pacific is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Union just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 4-3.

Colton Kossuth made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with five stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That double was his first of the season.

Meanwhile, St. Charles came up short against Windsor on Friday and fell 5-1.

St. Charles' defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Pacific, their loss dropped their record down to 6-2.

Pacific skirted past St. Charles 4-3 when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Pirates have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
