Basketball Game Preview: Exeter-West Greenwich Scarlet Knights vs. East Greenwich Avengers

Exeter-West Greenwich is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Wednesday. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 60-59 heartbreaker at the hands of Davies Career & Tech.

Meanwhile, East Greenwich entered their tilt with Woonsocket on Wednesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victor by a 69-46 margin over the Villa Novans.

Exeter-West Greenwich better keep an eye on Rees Maccarone. He was instrumental in East Greenwich's win, putting up 22 points. The match was Maccarone's ninth in a row with at least 15 points. Aidan Glynn was another key player, posting 14 points.

East Greenwich's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points over those games. As for Exeter-West Greenwich, they now have a losing record of 9-10.
