Basketball Recap: Carlton Oram Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Duval

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Roosevelt, Douglass was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They snuck past the DuVal Tigers with a 59-53 win. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 59-56 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Douglass' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Carlton Oram led the charge by going 8-for-11 en route to 24 points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kolby Turner, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 16 points and five steals.
