Baseball Game Preview: Antelope Titans vs. Argonaut Mustangs

The Antelope Titans will challenge the Argonaut Mustangs at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.

After dropping their season opener at home, Argonaut is headed out to face a Titans team ready to give their home crowd a win. Antelope fell just short of Colfax by a score of 4-3 on Friday.

Antelope saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Romo, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, Argonaut got the win against Calaveras on Friday by a conclusive 7-1. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Red Hawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Jacob Teravskis made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Teravskis was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, Grady Nash was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.

Antelope got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March of 2025 against Argonaut by a conclusive 12-2 score. Will the Titans repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
