Baseball Recap: West Middlesex Comes Up Short

After flying high against Reynolds on Wednesday, West Middlesex came back down to earth. The Big Reds came up short against Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley on Thursday, falling 10-3.

West Middlesex saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyle Gilson, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

West Middlesex has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season. As for Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley, their record now sits at 7-5-1.

Looking ahead, West Middlesex will host Rocky Grove at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley, they will venture away from home to challenge Karns City at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
