Volleyball Recap: George County Comes Up Short

After flying high against Moss Point on Thursday, George County came back down to earth. The Rebels fell 2-0 to the Faith Academy Rams on Friday. If the Rebels were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Rams when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Faith Academy found their leader in sophomore Kyleigh Grosz, who had eight digs and two aces.

George County's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Faith Academy, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coincidentally, George County and Faith Academy will both be playing St. Luke's Episcopal the next time they take the court. The Rebels will head out to face the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Rams will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
