Basketball Recap: Arroyo Grande Comes Up Short

They came up short against the Buchanan Bears, falling 68-47. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 730th, while the Bears are ranked 19th).

Arroyo Grande's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Buchanan, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Arroyo Grande has already played their next game, a 57-51 loss against Thousand Oaks on the 12th. As for Buchanan, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against San Luis Obispo at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Buchanan's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
