Softball Recap: Londonderry Starts off Right with Win over Tyngsborough

Londonderry had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Tyngsborough Tigers a 6-0 shutout. The win was nothing new for the Lancers as they're now sitting on 12 straight dating back to last season.

Sadie Moore was incredible, firing off two home runs and five RBI while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Addison Martinez, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Londonderry will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Salem at 4:00 p.m. on April 14. As for Tyngsborough, they will head out to square off against Clinton at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
