Baseball Recap: Williamson Comes Up Short

Williamson lost against Gananda Central back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Marauders lost 16-6 to the Blue Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Marauders have suffered since May 7, 2024.

Caiden Watson was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. Spencer Blauvelt was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI.

Williamson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Gananda Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Williamson and Gananda Central will both be playing Clyde-Savannah the next time they take the field. The Marauders will host the Golden Eagles at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday, while the Blue Panthers will host them at 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
