Basketball Game Preview: Fryeburg Raiders vs. Lisbon Greyhounds

The Fryeburg Raiders will challenge the Lisbon Greyhounds at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Fryeburg and 28 for Lisbon dating back to last season.

Last Tuesday, 2025 welcomed Fryeburg with a 62-36 loss courtesy of Freeport.

Meanwhile, Lisbon was beaten by Monmouth Academy 83-6 on Thursday. The match marked the Greyhounds' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Lisbon's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Fryeburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.

Everything came up roses for Fryeburg against Lisbon in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 47-8 win. Will Fryeburg repeat their success, or does Lisbon have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
