Jackson Prep is a perfect 3-0 against Warren Central since September of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Patriots will host the Vikings at 6:15 p.m. Warren Central took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Jackson Prep, who comes in off a win.

On Monday, Jackson Prep earned a 3-1 victory over Pisgah. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Dragons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Jackson Prep had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-15, 25-23, 25-19.

Jackson Prep found their leader in sophomore Emi Story Speights, who had 18 digs and three assists.

Meanwhile, Warren Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Madison Central, falling 3-0.

Warren Central took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-14, 25-16.

Jackson Prep's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Warren Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Jackson Prep was able to grind out a solid win over Warren Central in their previous meeting back in August of 2024, winning 3-1. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
