Basketball Game Preview: Patterson Tigers vs. Manteca Buffaloes

The Patterson Tigers will square off against the Manteca Buffaloes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Patterson has struggled recently with four defeats in a row, while Manteca will arrive with three straight wins.

Patterson is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Turlock on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Patterson was dealt a 69-34 loss at the hands of Turlock. The Tigers were down 48-23 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, Manteca won against Sierra on Friday with 58 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. Manteca enjoyed a cozy 58-42 victory over East Union.

Manteca has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points per game. As for Patterson, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.
