Tippecanoe took a six-run loss the last time they faced off against Miamisburg, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Red Devils won by a run and slipped past the Vikings 7-6. The victory was nothing new for the Red Devils as they're now sitting on four straight.

Tippecanoe's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-6. As for Miamisburg, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season.

Tippecanoe and Miamisburg are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Red Devils will be playing in front of their home fans against Piqua at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tippecanoe is facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Miamisburg, they will challenge Troy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season.
