Meanwhile, Coolidge faced Jackson-Reed in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. Coolidge lost 19-1 to Jackson-Reed. The loss leaves the Colts still looking for their first win of the season.

Coolidge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for School Without Walls, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Coolidge's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Wednesday. School Without Walls has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.4 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Coolidge, though, as they've been averaging only 2.7 strikeouts. Will School Without Walls keep running through batters, or will Coolidge buck the trend?

School Without Walls took their victory against Coolidge in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 23-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for School Without Walls since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
