Basketball Recap: West Davidson Victorious

After losing to Southwestern Randolph the last time they met, West Davidson decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Dragons walked away with a 55-48 victory over the Cougars on Thursday.

West Davidson now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Southwestern Randolph, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Coming up, West Davidson won't have much time to rest: their next game is against North Davidson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Dragons will need to watch out since the Black Knights have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Southwestern Randolph, they are taking a road trip to square off against Wheatmore at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
