Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson lost against Eastwood back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Silver Foxes lost 3-0 to the Troopers. The Silver Foxes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Jefferson was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Eastwood's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-7, 25-11.

Jefferson now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Eastwood, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Jefferson will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Socorro at 6:30 p.m. on the 26th. As for Eastwood, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Richland on the 16th.
