Volleyball Recap: Cascade Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Cascade Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the San Gabriel Academy Eagles. If Cascade Christian Academy was looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to San Gabriel Academy when the teams met back in October of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 22-25, 25-14, 25-18.

Cascade Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for San Gabriel Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-4-2 record this season.

Cascade Christian Academy will challenge Easton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for San Gabriel Academy, they have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Columbia Adventist Academy on the 11th.
